NARS Purple Rain Dupe!

If you’ve been like me, and drooling over NARS purple rain polish from their winter collection of this year, but cringing at the idea of spending $20 + CAD for just a polish alone, fear not!

During my latest trip to Shoppers Drug Mart, I discovered a nice dupe among their small selection of Essie polishes.  It’s called Sexy Divide, and according to the interwebs is from their winter collection 2008.  Here’s a pair of stock photos borrowed from Google, as my camera is still out of comission

So, what do you think?  A suitable dupe?  Sexy Divide requires between 2-3 coats to get a nice solid colour like you’re seeing through the bottle, depending on how thick your coats are applied.
